Protect yourself against phishing attacks

We ask you to be cautious because scammers might target Vinted members with phishing attacks via:

  • Messages on Vinted
  • Text messages (SMS)
  • Emails
  • Direct calls
  • QR codes

Please note that we’ll never ask for your personal information (e.g. your email address or phone number) at any stage of the payment.

When payments are made via the “Buy now” button, the entire process is carried out through our platform — it will never need to be completed, confirmed, or verified using a link in an email or a message.

Important

Never reveal your personal information to anyone on the platform. Hackers might send a Vinted-look-like request to your email address or phone number, asking for your payment information or more.

  • I’ve recently disclosed my personal details to another Vinted member

  • I’ve shared my personal details and my money was stolen

If you’ve revealed your personal information and/or received suspicious emails or messages, please do not click on any links or enter any of your details.

If, in any case, you are asked for your personal information, please report it to us, and we’ll do our best to help you.
