2-step verification adds an extra layer of security to your Vinted account and earnings:

Step 1: You’ll only need to verify your phone number once.

Step 2: If we notice any unusual activity on your account, we’ll send a code to your phone. By entering this code on your Vinted screen, you’ll confirm your identity, and will be able to finish your actions safely.

Add and verify your phone number

• Press on your profile icon
• Select Settings, Security and you’ll see 2-step verification
• Enter your phone number and press Send to receive a verification code
• Receive a 4-digit code to your phone — enter it on the verification screen and press Verify.

You may also add a trusted device by ticking the “Remember this device” checkbox on the same screen. Only tick this box on devices you regularly use and don’t share with anyone else.

Good to know

• If you receive an SMS code to your phone, but you haven’t recently made any changes to your Vinted account, we recommend renewing your password.
• We encourage you to verify your email, as well as your Google and Facebook accounts if you haven’t done that yet.
• If you experience any issues, please contact us via the button below and describe the situation, so that we can look into it.
• If we notice any suspicious login attempts, we might ask you to verify your account via email.
